Hello. Yes. Both are equally entertaining. Before I Fall is a tear-jerker read. 13 Reasons Why, on the otherhand, is a suspense novel with clean plot. Kinda disturbing because it deals with teenage suicide. :)

There is no “OR”. There is only “AND”. I don’t compare books. Well, that’s how it works for me. I don’t get the point of comparing them since these novels meant two DIFFERENT WORLD to me. Readers are not supposed to complain because when they do, they’ll lose the pleasure of getting into the magical world of whatever book they are reading. :)

Is Why We Broke Up really a good book? I really find it hard to push through not because it's nothing close to my experience but I'd like to think that the films mentioned in the book made it hard for the readers to understand, especially for those who are not inclined to classic films. Now i'm torn whether or not to continue reading it.
Yes and Yes! I think the movies mentioned there are fictional. I tried to search it on Youtube but I found nothing. It was hard to read the book at first because of the movie jargon (well, i’d like to call it that way. haha) but I was able to push through until its very end. Honestly, the book has nothing to do with my personal experience (so i thank my friends for their experiences. lol). Try to finish the entire book. Maybe you haven’t seen the crux of the story yet. It’s really a good book. :-)
